Chicken Cacciatore

1 lb. chicken
1 onion (chopped)
2-3 garlic cloves
1 bell pepper
1 can Italian tomatoes
3 tbs. olive oil
1 jar Angelo's Italian Salsa 1 cup fresh slice mushrooms

Brown chicken and garlic cloves in olive oil. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, mushrooms and Angelo's Italian Salsa. Simmer until done, approx. 1 hr. serve over rice. Makes 8 servings.


One Pan Meal

2 links fresh Italian Turkey Sausages
4 cooked potatoes (cubed)
1 onion
1/4 cup white wine
3 tbls. Angelo's Italian or Garlic Mustard

Saute' onions in olive oil until golden brown. Add sausage and wine, cook until meat has cooked through. Add potatoes and Angelo's Italian Mustard and stir to blend all ingredients. Continue to cook until potatoes begin to brown. Serve with salad and Italian bread.

Bruschetta

1 baguette (1 in. slices)
Angelo's Garlic salsa
Mild white cheese
olive oil

Brush bread slices with a light coating of olive oil and place on a cookie sheet. Add approx. 1 tsp. Angelo's Garlic Salsa and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min. or until bread is crispy. For a crisper taste, brush bread on both sides with oil and bake until crispy, then add salsa and cheese.


ITALIAN TURKEY CHILI
Angelo's favorite

3/4 cup chopped turkey or chicken (ground turkey may be used)
1 lb. white northern beans (cooked per pkg. instructions)
2 tbs. olive oil
1 jar Angelo's Garlic Salsa
2 small yellow onions (diced) 1/2 cup red wine
Angelo's Italian Spice (to taste)

Saute' onions in olive oil until transparent in color. Add turkey and Angelo's Italian Spice and cook until turkey is done throughout stirring often so turkey does not burn. Add wine, cook 2 minutes longer. Add Angelo's Garlic Salsa and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir to blend ingredients. Add cooked beans and Angelo's Italian Spice to taste and simmer 20 minutes. Serve with green salad and crusty Italian bread.
